I just had to stop the car to walk among them even though it was 100 degrees outside. In other news, I am still trying to perfect my channel mixing skills - the grass in that field wasn't actually orange, it was green, but I think it looks better orange.
Hahaha, before reading your text, it made sense to me that the grass was orange.
We're coming into wildflower season, and the grass is reminiscent of the poppies that are coming into bloom.
You can see the ribs poking through the flanks of those cows. Do they taste any good?
Are you barbecuing? It's almost warm enough to start over here. I can't wait to start barbecuing in my sandals, shorts, and Hawaiian shirts. Summer is right around the corner...

No. I basically gave up on eating beef here except for some stir fry dishes when it's cut into thin strips, or in soups where it's boiled soft. Don't really miss it, though. Pork is a good substitute.

It is so hot there that burnt orange grass does make sense! No wonder the drought cattle don't have any meat on their bones! All the fat has been melted off by excessive heat.
